Mind/Body Fertility Center Mission:
To increase conception rates by
significantly improving the physical and psychological symptoms
of stress and depression associated with infertility.
History:
The Mind/Body Fertility Center offers the training designed
by Alice Domar, Ph.D., founder of the Mind/Body Medical Institute's
Infertility Program at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Domar is
an internationally recognized infertility pioneer and women's
health expert. Our program, under the leadership of Dr. Elissa
Geier, who was personally trained by Dr. Domar, seeks to improve
psychological and physical outcomes for those individuals
dealing with infertility. Dr. Geier is an experienced clinician,
skilled in working with women's and couples' health and fertility
issues.
Scientific
research involving participants of the Mind/Body Medical Institute's
Infertility Program has demonstrated conclusively both a statistically
significant decrease in physical and psychological symptoms
of stress and a 44% increase in pregnancy rates within six
months of completing the M/BMI program.
